ABC 5 Dasar

              One of the Traditional Games from Indonesia is ABC 5 Dasar. This game is usually played by more than 5 people. Besides fun, this game can also hone children’s intelligence. This is one of the fun and easy to play education games because it doesn’t need special tools or object to play it. To play it needs paper and pen or pencil. In each player’s paper are written categories such as name of people, animals, objects, fruits etc.
                Besides that each player donates his finger to determine what alphabet will be used as a benchmark. The rules to play is the players will say the word “abc 5 dasar” and the players put their finger as desired on the floor or table, then one of the players sorts the number of fingers in alphabetical order to determine what alphabet to base the words on the last finger. For example selected alphabet C each players must write the name of people, animals, fruits, objects beginning with the alphabet C.
            To win this game the players must collect as many points as possible, each word gets 100 points but if there is a player who has the same answer that player only gets 50 points, the player who gets the most point will win. The player who gets the lowest point will be punished, the punishment is in accordance with agreement of the other players, usually the punishment is a blow in the palm.
            In addition to children, this game can also be played by parents with their children as a means of education and building emotional closeness.
